I had a great time painting larger than I normally do. I wish my studio could accommodate larger canvases! I'm continuing with the beach paintings as I spend so much time out there. I'll be in Manzanita with family next week then Rockaway Beach the following week for my first anniversary with my husband, I'm bringing the easel so I'll have more work from the coast out this month!

I'm painting fairly large again, I'm excited to see how this 30''x 42" piece will end up.

Thanks to Pam Knowles who purchased my small work of the Beach at Manzanita. It's always inspiring to have a total stranger believe in your work!

Mojos Coffee House 1/2010

My work is now up at Mojo's Coffee house on SE 28th and Stark st. in Portland. There you will see some of my Plein-air paintings, mostly made on Sauvie Island and a couple of works I made in the studio. I love Mojo's, most likely you will find me there reading some science fiction book and enjoying my black coffee. So come talk to me!
